JOSHUA CANNING

Joshua started working in the industry at 16 as a labourer in a small recycling facility in Sydney, Australia. Working his way up the organisation over 11 years, he gained a deep understanding of metals, quality, operations and international trading before founding Select Metals in Singapore in 2012. Joshua and his team built Select Metals into one of Asia-Pacific ‘s largest traders of recycled non-ferrous metals actively trading in 18 countries in the region with offices in Singapore and Sydney, Australia before it was acquired by Kataman in 2022. Joshua has lived and worked in Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, France and Singapore. He speaks English and a little French.
