Founded in 1993, Kataman began as a nonferrous metals trading company focused on recycled metals. Building on our experience and global network, we expanded into ferrous metals and, in 2013, were instrumental in the development and launch of the CME ferrous futures contract. Now, as part of Korea Zinc, we’re paving the way for the production of copper cathode made entirely from recycled copper – advancing the world’s transition to a low-carbon economy and enabling a more sustainable planet.
